On Tuesday I did my lengthy journey with my group, West of Morgan Hill and round each Uvas and Chesbro reservoirs with an out-and-back to Rancho Canada Del Oro Open Area on Casa Loma Highway. We had nice climate for it though we had a reasonably respectable headwind within the southbound legs.
I rode my recumbent with electrical help, which works higher for me these days for longer rides (this was about 35 miles for me, together with using to and from the group journey begin from residence). I’m engaged on getting my journey size up on my upright. Presently I can go a bit over an hour with no points, however generally my SI joint will get slightly cranky if I push it longer. I don’t need to overdo that as a result of it may progress to a sciatica flare-up. So I add slightly extra to my upright periods every week.
