Margaret Miles-Bramwell, our beloved founder, was remembered at a shifting service at Derby Cathedral at this time.
A whole lot of mourners gathered, together with Margaret’s household, buddies and plenty of Slimming World Consultants and employees, to pay their respects to the girl who touched the hearts and adjusted the lives of hundreds of thousands.
Throughout the service (led by The Very Reverend Dr Peter Robinson, Dean of Derby), tributes got by her son Dominic Miles, former Slimming World Chief Govt Officer Caryl Richards, and Margaret’s buddy and trusted colleague Cenk Efe on behalf of the Mallorca group.
The cathedral service was adopted by a non-public farewell for household and buddies.
Earlier than the ceremony, the funeral cortège made a farewell journey to Slimming World Head Workplace in Alfreton, Derbyshire, the place a whole lot of employees gathered to pay tribute. Staff, together with some who had labored with Margaret for many years, lined the street outdoors what’s fondly often called the Sparkly Fortress and showered the procession with lovely spring daffodils and white roses.Â
