Ramping Up My Coaching – BionicOldGuy


I’ve gotten as much as about 2 hours a day of coaching lately, principally driving but in addition energy coaching and my PT for my again and hips. My physique appears to be tolerating it effectively and it feels good.

Some memorable rides included final Tuesday after I rode with my group out to the tip of Redwood retreat highway and again, posted right here on Strava. Then on Sunday I did a tough exercise consisting of higher physique energy coaching and PT, adopted by a brisk experience out the Coyote Creek path to Bernal highway, switching to Monterey freeway on my manner again. I additionally threw in some onerous intervals. That felt nice on the time however I used to be fairly drained afterwards so I took it simpler yesterday.

I’ll be visiting my brother in a few weeks in Phoenix, and I need to hire a motorbike whereas I’m down there to experience a few of the canal trails. This will probably be an upright. Since I usually experience a recumbent, and haven’t put as a lot mileage lately on my upright, my butt shouldn’t be as toughened up because it must be, so I’ll be placing extra mileage on the upright in preparation, as I did on final Tuesday’s, Friday’s, and yesterday’s rides.
