Yesterday I headed south by way of rural roads east of Morgan Hill by way of San Martin to Gilroy. I used to be on my recumbent with electrical help. The wind was gentle so I used to be in a position to keep a mean of just below 20 mph, an exhilarating brisk tempo. This lined 27 miles in a little bit over 90 minutes. I loved seeing our inexperienced hills from the latest rain.

We’re lucky that our vegetation isnât so dry right here up north. Our associates down south werenât so fortunate, it’s a lot drier down there, and so they had extreme Santa Ana winds bringing heat dry air which has made the fires worse. I donât know anybody personally that has misplaced their dwelling, however we’re pondering of those that have. Firefighters from up right here have gone down to assist out, simply as SoCal firefighters have helped us previously. We’re all on this collectively.
